The Cotswolds

Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold

rain 10 °C

Berni and I headed to the Cotswolds for a day trip on Saturday. Turned out to be a lovely day out - lots of fresh air, country prettiness, stone cottages, pottery, and ducks waddling in the middle of the road (ok, so there was one). We visited three villages in the Cotswolds - all of them pretty and very english. We ate too much cream tea, drank a beer at the Duke of Wellington, and bought loads of postcards. I'm sure none of which I'll send - hence the reason you've all received one. Because I'm old and everything, I was shattered after the last stop. I didn't sleep on the coach on the way back to London, but promptly snored on the sofa at Berni's until she prodded me to go to bed... at the ridiculously late hour of 10.30pm! Oh the shame.
